Antoni Gaudi is Barcelona’s most famous resident, a visionary who left an indelible mark on the city through his inimitable architecture.
On this unique tour, we will trace Gaudi’s life and legacy through the breathtaking monuments he left behind him in Barcelona, discovering his major influences and how he was able to define the city’s aesthetic for future generations.
We’ll stop off at no less than 5 of his UNESCO-listed works, all in one morning, thanks to our modern electric bikes, starting with the charming Park Guell, where we’ll spend around 50 minutes exploring Gaudi’s beautifully landscaped gardens and the famous trencadis-decorated viewing terrace, with vistas over the city. (Tour price includes tickets to Park Guell, one of Barcelona’s unmissable attractions).
Exclusive to Gaudi Bike Tours, we’ll also stop for a complimentary drink on the rooftop of the historic art nouveau Casa Fuster hotel, with views over the tree-lined Passeig de Gracia.
Another highlight of the tour is La Sagrada Familia, arguably the world’s most recognisable church. Your guide will help you understand its richly decorated exterior, down to its mathematical equations and artistic eccentricities, and share some of the stories of Gaudi’s incredible life.
As we return to the centre of town, we will stop at two more of Gaudi’s legendary creations: Casa Mila and Casa Batllo, both on the Passeig de Gracia. We will unpack their façades to reveal Gaudi’s proud Christian and Catalan identity.
